Off-White & Blue Classic Kitchen in Aberdeenshire
-
This open-plan kitchen in Banff, Aberdeenshire was designed to create a spacious, sociable hub centred around a large island. The client visited our Fraserburgh showroom, where we developed the layout using 3D CAD software to clearly visualise how the kitchen, dining and social areas would connect within one cohesive space.

The cabinetry is from the Mackintosh Manor House range, finished in Painted Limestone with a contrasting Painted Indigo accent. Traditional cup handles and knobs enhance the design’s classic character, while the two-tone palette adds depth and interest.

Worktops are in Silestone Ethereal Dusk in a substantial 30mm thickness, bringing a refined, contemporary surface to the scheme. A Sand Orleans Oak feature breakfast bar and dedicated drinks area introduce warmth and texture, beautifully balancing the lighter painted cabinetry.
All appliances are by Siemens and include a single oven, a combi microwave with warming drawer, a coffee maker with warming drawer, a five-zone induction hob with ceiling extractor, a dishwasher, a full-height fridge and freezer, and an under-counter wine cooler. This setup ensures the kitchen is fully equipped for both everyday use and entertaining.

A Quooker Flex tap in Brushed Stainless Steel pairs with white undermounted sink bowls for a clean, streamlined look. A custom-built ceiling drop box houses the extractor and incorporates both feature and task lighting, helping define the cooking zone within the open-plan layout. LED lighting within the drinks area and pantry units, complete with motion sensors, adds both practicality and atmosphere.
