Deep Blue, White & Oak Handleless Kitchen in Fraserburgh
-
This contemporary kitchen in St Combs, Fraserburgh, was designed for a new-build home, creating an open-plan space where the kitchen, dining and sitting areas feel connected while still serving their own purpose.
-
The cabinetry is from Nolte’s Soft Lack range, combining Deep Blue with Sahara, a soft off-white accent shade. Silver handle trims maintain the sleek appearance of the handleless design, while the perimeter units are built into goal-post style niches for a more fitted and architectural look.
-
Worktops are in Silestone Ethereal Noctis, providing a light contrast against the deeper cabinetry.
All appliances are by NEFF and include a Slide & Hide single oven, combination microwave, warming drawer, induction hob, downdraft extractor, dishwasher and fridge freezer.
-
The island creates an open cooking area at the centre of the room, allowing the kitchen to remain connected to the surrounding social spaces. Attached to the island, a Chalet Oak dining area introduces warmth and natural texture, helping to visually connect the kitchen with the wider dining and living space.
A Blanco Subline undermount sink is paired with a Quooker Flex boiling-water tap in Stainless Steel. Two Nolte flip sockets are integrated into the worktops for convenient access to power, while herringbone LVT flooring adds subtle pattern and warmth throughout the open-plan space.
The result is a cohesive open-plan kitchen that brings together cooking, dining and relaxing in a way that feels natural and well considered.
